Plan your first rodeo event

What could be more Texan than the sounds of country music and the smell of barbecue in the air? M7 Arena is the place to be if you’re looking for something a little bit different than your average rodeo. The arena has plenty of space to host private events, as well as opens its doors to allow members of the community to participate in open arena days. If you’re looking for something a little less tame, there are also team roping practice/jackpots, barrel/poles practice, and barrel jackpots.

M7 Arena is about 40 miles southeast of DFW and about 50 miles north of Waco. It’s a great option for families looking for some wholesome fun or groups who want to make a trip out of their corporate retreat.

Celebrate your birthday at Country Critters Farm

Country Critters Farm is a great place to spend a day with your family. With all of the fall festivities that go on there, it’s hard to choose just one activity. In fact, when you call them to ask about their special events, they’ll probably tell you about more than one thing that sounds amazing and you’d love to do! They have so many activities for kids and adults; it’s almost impossible to pick just one.

In addition to their pumpkins and mazes, they have an awesome corn maze that changes every year! Last year it was “Finding Dory” and this year, they’ve got a new maze game called “Zombie Maze Game”. This game is an awesome twist on a classic maze! The zombie theme makes it fun for the whole family. It’s also a great activity for kids who get bored easily in corn mazes because it makes the experience more interactive. They love getting to use their phones or radios to find clues along the way! It’s so much fun, even adults want to play the game. And if you don’t want to play the game, they still have classic corn mazes as well.

Visit Haunted Mead Manor this Halloween!

During the fall season, thousands of Americans gather around campfires and tell stories of haunted houses and ghosts. Each story has its own set of characters, a different plot, and a different ending. But these houses and ghosts share one commonality: something that keeps you guessing what happens next.

When you visit Mead Manor Alvarado this Halloween, you’ll be walking into a house with no idea what is next. From the moment you enter the house, your senses will be bombarded by things you can feel. Tthe cold of the wind rushing over your neck to things you can hear. But nothing will compare to how you feel when you come face-to-face with a ghost or a monster. You’ll be frozen in place — but at that moment, time itself might even stop. You’ll be so excited, and so scared; it’s an experience like no other.

The manor might even be bigger than last year — so keep an eye out for Haunted Mead Manor this Halloween season!
